Operational, Food and Beverage Manager
Mark Enslin: Mark started his career in the Hospitality Industry 23 years ago at the five-star Royal Hotel in Durban.
He has managed and developed some of the finest four-star and five-star properties in South Africa, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Nigeria and Mauritius.
Most recently, Mark was acting Operations Director for the world-renowned International Convention Centre in Durban.
He has a passion for food and meticulous on-service excellence.
Mark loves the outdoors, mountain biking, golf, fishing and running. Because of his get up and go attitude, he is not too keen on sitting in an office.
His colleagues call him a “hands on, lead by example” kind of guy.
Henry van der Linde: After qualifying as a Teacher and Computer Programmer, Henry decided that an office job was not for him.
He then joined the Protea Hotel Balalaika in Sandton, Johannesburg, as a Sales Executive and 25-year career in Hospitality was on its way. Henry later became Regional Sales Manager for Protea Hotels and represented over 130 properties throughout Africa and Europe. Three Cities Hotel group followed after Protea Hotels, as well as a smaller hotel group and a five-star Boutique Hotel in Pretoria. He is exceptionally well known in the industry and has built a reputation of honesty and respect during his career. His knowledge of the industry, as well as his well cemented relationships, makes anything possible. Animals and sport are his passions and he loves a new challenge.
